THEIA provides a complimentary membership for all new TPWD Certified Hunter Education Instructors.
Prerequisite for complimentary membership:
- TPWD – Hunter Education Certified Instructor
- In good standing with the Department
- Application made before anniversary date of becoming an Instructor

Why is it important to become a member of THEIA? For one, THEIA is the organization that pays for the “Incentive” awards such as the Rifle, Pistol and Shotguns that Certified Instructors receive after they accommodate enough incentive award points.
